Americans Stand Up To Hemorrhoids
Article by Lawrence Kreger
Hemorrhoids are amongst the most common, and often misunderstood, conditions amongst American citizens. Due to their close proximity to taboo body parts and the often-humiliating stigma associated with having them, an understanding of hemorrhoids it generally avoided until the onset of symptoms. In fact, the average person’s knowledge of hemorrhoids is so minor that the word is usually misspelled as hemroids, hemmroids, and hemoroids, rather than with its proper spelling.
Every person on the planet has hemorrhoids, as they are simply the tissue between the anus and rectum that contains blood vessels. However, they are more commonly referred to when they become inflamed or contain pooled blood due to excessive straining or tearing of the rectal wall. At onset, it is normal to have bleeding hemorrhoids, though great care should be taken to clean the anus to avoid receiving a fecal infection when blood is present in stool, and a physician should be consulted to avoid misdiagnosis of a more serious threat.
Additionally, bad diet and exercise habits, obesity, pregnancy, and hypertension can all lead to hemorrhoid growth, while using dry toilet paper and sitting for long periods can aggravate preexisting conditions. Hemorrhoid treatment varies from using natural herbal ointments and suppositories to outpatient surgery, depending on the severity of the disease.
When the hemorrhoid remains outside the anus, whether it can be manually pushed back in or not, treatment choices begin to focus on surgery. The surgical removal of a swollen hemorrhoid becomes the last line of defense as the procedure requires hospitalization in a few cases, and simpler procedures can be less costly to the patient.
While bleeding hemorrhoids are a cause for initial panic, the most commonly recognized symptom is the pain associated with a prolapsed hemorrhoid. During the periods where a hemorrhoid remains inside the sphincter, or recedes on its own, the use of topical treatments like Preparation H and ClearMed, or natural treatments like cranberry poultice, is recommended.
It is currently estimated that nearly 50% of the world’s population suffers to some degree due to hemorrhoids. Though there is evidence to suggest that sit-down toilets create a greater possibility to contract the disease compared to squat toilets, there has never been an extensive study performed to prove it. Even with the embarrassment caused by hemorrhoids, and the lack of individuals willing to discuss it, there is a multitude of options available to relieve symptoms and eventually remove the complication.
With years of experience in providing hemorrhoid treatment, Lawrence Kreger has become an authority in the field, offering his expertise to any willing to seek it. Due to the potential issues caused by bleeding hemorrhoids, and the possibility of infection, Mr. Kreger recommends contacting a physician at the first signs of blood. Are Bleeding Hemorrhoids Dangerous?
Article by Rudi Sturlese
Most people get very agitated and frightened seeing bleeding hemorrhoids in the rectum. Especially if it’s their first time.
Now it’s not as serious as one thinks as long as the bleeding is actually from the hemoroid and not from somewhere else. So what I am saying is that it is of utmost importance to be sure of the source of the bleeding. If unsure or slightly in doubt, I would highly recommend that you see a medical doctor for a confirmation of diagnosis. This is imperative as it is known that hemoroids can be confused with other more serious ailments.
However the most important sign to recognize that the bleeding is indeed from hemorrhoids, is that the blood must be bright red in color. Whether you are experiencing bleeding from internal hemorrhoids or external hemorrhoids, the blood must be and is always bright red in color. If any other color, it is not hemorrhoids.
Bleeding hemorrhoids are not dangerous. This is how they behave normally. What happens is that a pocket of blood forms inside the vein in the anus area. Then when you exert pressure on them.Usually caused from passing a hard bowel movement. This pocket will break, and the blood will pour out. This can happen outside the anus with external hemorrhoids or just inside the anus with internal hemorrhoids.
It is also very common that hemorrhoids bleed for weeks. This is again caused by irritating the hemoroids with bowel movements, sitting, standing etc…..just like a cut keeps bleeding if continually irritated.
However, if left unattended they can cause more discomfort and could become infected. So it is best to treat hemorrhoids immediately and effectively.
I will however be repetitive and say one more time that you should get these hemorrhoids checked by a professional and make sure that you have bleeding hemorrhoids and not something else.
My name is Rudi Sturlese and I have suffered for about 40 years with hemorrhoids. Then through trials and errors, together with my pharmaceutical background I managed to find the permanent cure to this horrific ailment. Hence wrote a book called fresh hemorrhoids cure to help others to be free of hemorrhoids permanently.
