Internet, Two-Edged Sword
Today’s Internet is entering its golden ages. With the Internet we can get whatever we need starting from the information, entertainment, and even money. Enough with internet access at home, we can get a variety of things. Not only that, the internet today can be accessed very easily and very cheap, even free. Just look at some cafes and public places, has provided free internet facilities. Simply bring a portable computer, we are able to access it.
But convenience is not only a positive impact, but also negative. An example is the impact for our children. With easy access, the Internet will provide a variety of things, including things for adults. Of course we do not want that to happen to our children. With so many adult sites on offer, we need to do preventive actions to stem the site in a way that we deem inappropriate, such as block porn sites, violence, and so on.
With a strong protection, we are no longer worried about who would corrupt our children. But that does not mean our job is complete. It would be wise if we could perform assistance when our beloved children are accessing the internet.
